Overview
This guide explains how to connect Auth0 with Grip Security.
Integrating with Grip’s SSPM module enables Grip to assess critical security settings, including access control, configuration baseline, and other relevant aspects within your Auth0 environment.
To authenticate with Auth0, you need to provide: Client ID, Client Secret, and Domain
This guide will help you get this information and set up the connection for the integration.
Get Auth0 details for Grip integration
From the Auth0 dashboard, go to Applications (1) >> + Create Application (2)
Name your SSPM application (3) >> select “Machine to Machine Applications (4)
Click on Create

Select the API (5)
Check the following permissions (6):
read:guardian_factorsread:tenant_settingsread:usersread:user_idp_tokens
Click on Authorize

From the Settings tab, copy the Client ID, Client Secret, and Domain (7) to your clipboard, as you'll need them when connecting to Grip.

From the APIs tab, ensure the Authorized toggle is enabled.

Connect Auth0 to Grip SSPM
From Grip platform, go to Posture >> Click on Add Tenant (1) >> Auth0 (2)

In the Add New Auth0 Tenant window (3), input the necessary Tableau connection details that you copied from the earlier section.
Note that the “Organization” field is optional.
Click Add Tenant.

Once connected, the Tenant will be added to the “Connected Tenants” list. There, you can view and filter your policy statuses, assess your security posture, and address any issues.
